On the eve of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos in January 2023, Johnson Controls Chairman and CEO George Oliver shared his thoughts on how existing building technology can help slash emissions to tackle climate change.

In his recent blog, Oliver describes the opportunity to make an impact as the leader of a building technology company.

"There is no decarbonizing the world without decarbonizing buildings. The good news is that we also know the formula to get the job done: focusing on energy efficiency, electrification and digitization," he said.

The Annual Meeting, planned Jan. 16-20, 2023, will convene leaders from government, business, and civil society to address the state of the world and discuss priorities for the year ahead.
